The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the health and social care regulator for England. CQC look at the joined-up picture of health and social care. CQC's aim is to ensure better care for everyone in hospital, in a care home and at home.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) encourages improvement in the quality of social care - whether in the public, private or voluntary sector. CQC will use the information gathered through inspection, assessment and review to help all providers improve their services
