Carers

A carer and an elderly lady

Anybody who helps a friend or relative who is too ill, frail or disabled to manage alone is a carer. Most people don't think of themselves as carers.

Carers are entitled to a carers assessment this is an assessment of your needs and can include advice, support and training.

The Community Council of Shropshire is an independent charity set up over 40 years ago to improve the quality of life in Shropshire. They run an initiative to support, inform and advise carers.
