Education Advisory Service

The Education Advisory Service works with schools, both within the borders of Shropshire and beyond, to improve the quality of learning experiences and standards of achievement at all levels. It supports schools by, among other things:

• providing school-based consultancy, which can be tailored to schools' specific requirements;
• planning and providing in-service courses across all curriculum areas and phases, which can be delivered at the service's training centres or, alternatively, on school sites;
• producing and sourcing curriculum publications - most written by our own advisers - as well as a wide range of resources, particularly in the areas of science, D&T and mathematics;
• providing training centres and specialist curriculum resource centres for: school effectiveness, publications, literacy, numeracy, ICT, arts and media and science and technology.
