Age Concern is the only local specialist provider of advice and information for older people. Contact your nearest Age Concern Office for further details. For advice and information on benefits in particular, select the benefits advice link on this page.

We also run legal surgeries from the Shrewsbury office. Solicitors offer free 15 minute advice sessions on a monthly basis at the Age Concern office. A new free legal surgery now runs from the Age Concern office in Halesfield. Appointments are necessary for both legal surgeries and these can be made by ringing tel: 01743 357748.

Independent free tax surgeries, intended for people over 60 on a low income and run by professionals, are available by appointment at the Age Concern offices in Shrewsbury and Telford.
