Our service standards introduce you to all aspects of the work of Shropshire Archives and explain what standards you can expect.

This includes:

• acquisitioning, accessioning and cataloguing - getting documents into the building and listing them to make them usable
• preservation and conservation - looking after the physical side of the documents as many are received in a fragile state
• information services - helping the 15,000 people who visit in person and many more who use our website or contact us remotely by email, letter or phone
• education and life long learning - our service for schools, groups and events programme
