Guided walk: mines, quarries and the canal at Lilleshall

Meet at the car park of the Red House, by the Lilleshall roundabout on the A581 Telford to Newport Road.

£4.00 payable on the day.

More information

A long, but not strenuous, walk around the sites of quarries and mines that peppered the area around the village, linked by the old canal. David Adams has built up an extensive knowledge of these industrial remains over many years of research, much of it on the ground. He will lead the walk with detailed explanations, indicating hidden relics of the past.
