Severn Box project

The Severn Box project has been a way of exploring stories and themes about the River Severn with groups in Shropshire, and linked to the larger Severn Project 2007-9.

A group of artists ‘Once Arts & Ceremonies’ are touring to venues with a Severn ‘Box’ shaped like a ship and are gathering stories and running workshops including:

• music
• theatre
• visual arts

The groups involved are:

• Innage Lane in Bridgnorth
• Meres Day Centre in Ellesmere
• a centre for excluded school pupils
• Shelton Occupational Therapy Unit in Shrewsbury

The project is taking place from July – October 2007. Further information and photographs will be added to this page soon.
