The Broadplace at Chirbury is located in the Post Office and the Village Hall. They have a wireless broadband connection along with a range of facilities available to everyone.


Opening hours: Laptops are available at the Post Office and stores during opening hours.

Mon - Fri 8am -6pm
Sat 8am - 5.30pm
Sun 9am - Midday

There is a supported drop in session every Saturday from 3pm - 5pm.

The equipment can also be used in the Village Hall, please contact the Broadplace Co-ordinator if you would like to use it.
Community activities: If you have a particular interest e.g. digital photography please contact the Broadplace Co-ordinators with the details.
Volunteering OpportunitiesThere are lots of volunteering opportunities available, from helping out with drop-in sessions to making posters or updating the website. if you have some skills or time and you would like to get involved Heather would love to hear from you.
Facilities for hire: Equipment is available for training, workshops or projects.

Getting there:Chirbury Post Office is in the middle of the village.

From Shrewsbury take the B4386 Montgomery Road. Chirbury is 18 miles.

From Craven Arms take the A489 signed to Newtown and Mid-Wales. After 14 miles, in Churchstoke, turn right on to the A490, signed for Welshpool. Chirbury is in 3 miles.
