Hackett Review, Building Safer Futures

The tragedies of major fire incidents over the last few years this has resulted in a full review of Building Regulations and Fire safety standards. The Review undertaken by Dame Judith Hackett has made numerous recommendations and called for significant improvements requiring all involved in the field to take accountability for their role in ensuring fire safety standards are met within the sector.

This event and experts in the field will discuss the recommendations of the Hackett Review, its implications for those involved, address fire safety considerations, identify best practice and provide expert knowledge on ensuring that the building is constructed and managed so that its performance in a fire meets the expectations of the designer, fire risk assessor, owner, occupants and fire and rescue service for the life cycle of the building.
