How could Investors in Children help your setting?

'Accreditation by an Investors in Children quality assurance scheme will tell parents that you are striving to deliver high standards and good quality services. You will be able to demonstrate that you are committed to excellence in childcare and that your services go beyond the minimum standards.'

The Early Years and Childcare Team offer courses to attain this accreditation. Quality Assurance stages 1 and 2 give practitioners / managers the opportunity to consider what is meant by quality and how to identify effective practice. There is opportunity to discuss self-evaluation and reflective practice and to look at some of the quality assurance awards available. Stages 1 and 2 also give information about the Shropshire Childminding Network which aims to provide high quality care for children and families, especially for those children with special educational needs, disabilities or additional needs.

Details of these courses can be found in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Brochure - select the link in the publications section.
