Information Sharing and Assessment (ISA) supports agencies working together with children, young people and their families.
There are many different people and agencies working with children and young people aged 0-18. ISA aims to improve the way that these different people and agencies communicate, share information and work together, to make sure the needs of all children and young people are met. There is an IT system that supports ISA. This is called the ISA child index.
ISA works to ensure that prevention services are better co-ordinated, and that children, young people and their families are offered support at an earlier stage.
ISA is part of the government's strategy to improve services for children and young people.
