Leaving care

Are you a young person who is leaving or have left care? if yes, then these pages provide information about the support and services which are available to you.

On the 1 October 2001 a new law came into place designed to give care leavers and 16 and 17 year olds still in care the support needed to live independently. You now have more rights to housing, more help with education and training and other things you may need.
