We recognise the additional support that families often need because of their child’s disability. As a result we have worked hard to improve and increase our range of provision during the past few years and we will continue to do this.
We cannot meet everyone’s needs but we will strive to do our best and to be open and honest about what we can and cannot do.
Some of the services we might be able to provide or organise include:-
- advice and Information
- counselling
- family support
- domiciliary help
- short breaks
- equipment and adaptations at home
- link with other agencies
- Direct Payments for carers of disabled children for children services
- Direct Payments for children with a disability who are 16 - 17 years old for care services
These services can only be provided following an assessment of your child’s needs and those of your family.
