How do you become an adoptive parent?

It is a big decision to decide to become an adoptive parent so we feel you need a lot of information to be able to make as informed a decision as possible.

A first step in the process is to come along to one of our Information Meetings which we hold at least 3 times a year. The aim of this meeting is to give you some basic information about the process, dispel some myths about adoption, talk about the reasons children need new families and about the children for whom we are currently seeking new families.

These meetings are organised by experienced adoption social workers and if you decide you wish to move to the next stage you will be invited to attend an office discussion with 2 of the adoption social workers where you can have the opportunity for a more in depth and private conversation regarding adoption.

For further information on adoption, please call +44 (0) 1743 241915 or follow the link on this page.
