SUMMARY
On 15 February 2011, Cabinet commissioned pre-statutory consultation on proposals for Hopton Wafers CE Primary School. This report detailed the outcomes from the consultation; the recommendation of the Corporate Director for People’s Services and asked Members to proceed with formal (statutory) proposals.

Recommendations:
Cabinet was recommended to:
(1) note the outcomes from the pre-statutory consultation;
(2) to proceed to formal proposals to close Hopton Wafers Church of England Primary School with effect from 31 August 2012 and offer places to pupils on roll at the school at Cleobury Mortimer School in line with the recommendation of the Corporate Director for People’s Services.
