Buying print from external suppliers
As part of its commitment to improving communications with local people, Shropshire County Council needs to buy print from external suppliers. This includes the full range of print from photocopying to web offset printing. Under the terms of the council's own procurement policy and European law, such expenditure falls under the 'major contract' rules and requires a tender process to be undertaken.

The attached brochure provides more information about the print procurement framework, its rules and categories, and useful contacts. There is also an overview of Shropshire County Council's inhouse print and design services.
