Tell us what you think about the issues that matter to you...

What is 'Let's Talk'?
Let's Talk is a series of local meetings held across Shropshire each year to hear the views of local people on issues that matter to them. For autumn 2008 meetings, a list of locations, dates, times and venues is available in 'Links'.

Let's Talk is arranged by Shropshire County Council, all the borough councils and district councils in Shropshire, and local town and parish councils.

Who can attend?
Anyone is free to attend.

What issues will be discussed at my Let's Talk session?
There will be limit on issues discussed, as long as they are local and matter to you. Minutes, meeting notes, feedback and/or action plans from many of the meetings held in 2007 can be found attached to this page.

Can I have my say and will my views be listened to?
All the councils involved in Let's Talk want to hear the views of local people. All of the councillors covering your area will be at your local session to hear what you have to say.

If you want to speak or ask a question at your session, you will be given the chance to. But if you just want to be there to listen, this was fine.

All those who attend Let's Talk meetings will receive feedback.

Issues that are raised and points made at Let's Talk will be fed into the councils' planning processes.

Also, you will soon be able to locate your session on an interactive map of Shropshire by following the link entitled 'Let's Talk 2008 meeting locations'.
