Attached is the artwork for Shropshire County Council's logo, provided in a wide range of formats for different uses. The use of Shropshire County Council's logo is restricted and care should be taken to ensure that it meets the corporate guidelines as set out below.

The following files are supplied as vector files created in MacroMedia FreeHand MX. Vector is the preferred format for graphic designers and commercial printers, because of the superior quality at any size together with exact colour matching. There are both cmyk and spot colour versions, they are fully editable and fonts have been converted. Please note without the appropriate software you will not be able to open these files (all attached at the bottom of the page):

Guidelines for use of the Shropshire County Council logo
If you wish to download and use the Shropshire County Council logo, we ask that you first gain permission from the Communications Unit. Please send an email - to david_designteamscc@btconnect.com - outlining why and how you wish to use the logo. We will then consider your request and decide whether to grant permission.
The criteria by which an external body may be granted permission to use the Shropshire County Council logo are as follows:
If permission is given, you must ensure that your use of the logo meets with the following guidelines.
1. The logo should be used on all typed/printed materials in full. Do not separate the crest and the words.
2. The official colours are Pantone 280 and 135 (dark blue and yellow). The logo can also be reproduced in one colour only: Pantone 280 (dark blue), as well as black or white. Mono and full-colour versions of the logo are attached below for reference.
3. The minimum size for the logo is 4cm wide.
4. Always keep all the elements in the same proportion as shown. Do not stretch it sideways or up-and-down.
5. If you have any questions about using the logo, please contact the Communications Unit at Shropshire County Council.
Positioning of the logo
Whether you are creating a leaflet, folder, brochure, poster or flyer, the logo must appear in a prominent position on the front of the publication.
Straplines/slogan
Shropshire County Council does not have an official slogan, and does not generally encourage them.
