Get your voice heard at Shropshire County Council
Shropshire County Council's Challenge Panel is a chance for the people of Shropshire to have a real say in the decisions that affect them and for local people to get involved in the design and delivery of our services.
Are you affected by the work of the Shropshire County Council or have views about what it does? Or are you simply concerned about the future of your area. If so, why not join us?
As a member of the panel you would be asked to give your comments, views and suggestions on policies or services delivered by Shropshire County Council. Your ideas would then be used to shape our services to ensure they are of the highest quality and meet the needs and concerns of local people.
The panel may be asked to comment on a wide range of issues across the council.
We will contact you by post and telephone for your comments and ideas or the panel may meet up to discuss more in-depth issues. Travel expenses will be reimbursed and an attendance allowance is also available to members of the Panel who are not representing a group which is currently receiving Shropshire County Council funding.
The panel is currently made up of a range of groups representing:
We want to increase the membership of this group to represent the widest possible range of people from different communities in Shropshire.
If you are interested in joining the Challenge Panel, please follow the link to the online application form.
If you would like further information, please contact Nina Dunmore, Locality Officer on (01743) 252718 or send an email by clicking on the 'contact' link on this page.
