If you are looking for help to identify and apply for suitable grants for a local project the Community Action Team are here to support you.
If your project needs a grant up to a few thousand pounds, you may be able to apply to one of the schemes available in Shropshire, such as:
- Grassroots Grants,
- Awards for All, or
- Local Joint Committees.
The Community Action Team can help you identify which grant is most suitable for you and give you advice when completing any application forms.
Advice on applying for larger grants is also available through the Community Action Team. They will be able to give you details of how to apply for these funds and put you in contact with relevant organisations.
Shropshire Council’s External Funding Team work to secure regional, national and European sources of funding for Shropshire. Community action officers have close links with this team to ensure that, wherever possible, local projects can benefit from funds secured for the county.
