Residents urged to hear plans for new medical centre
Residents are being encouraged to come along to the next meeting of the Cleobury and Rural Local Joint Committee meeting on Thursday 25th March at 7pm at Cleobury Mortimer Sports & Social Club.
The main item for the meeting is a presentation and discussion about the proposals for a new medical centre with representatives from Cleobury Mortimer Medical Practice and their agents. There will also be a discussion around recycling and waste collection in the area with representatives from Shropshire Council.
Lively discussion around gritting, speeding and flooding
At the meeting on 3rd February discussion centred on these three very topical issues . Discussion was led by officers from Shropshire Council and West Mercia Police and a range of issues were highlighted by the community that will be investigated further. The community thanked the recent efforts of the gritting teams in keeping many of the rural roads open despite the severe weather conditions.
