Citizens' Advice Bureau (CAB)
Provides advice on any subject.

The British and Irish Ombudsman Association
Handles complaints from ordinary citizens about certain public bodies or private sector services.

Department of Trade & Industry
Regulates consumer issues, including consumer safety and consumer credit, and commercial matters including competition, and fair trading as well as aspects of employment law and trade union affairs.

Financial Services Authority
Regulates financial services and protect consumers. They can help you if you have a complaint and you are unsure who to contact.

Commission for Racial Equality (CRE)
Provides advice to people who have been subjected to racism.

Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC)
Works to remove illegal discrimination and promote equal opportunities.

Ofcom
Ofcom is the communications sector regulator which, in October 2003, inherited the duties of the five existing regulators it replaced: the Broadcasting Standards Commission (BSC), the Independent Television Commission (ITC), Oftel, the Radio Authority and the Radiocommunications Agency.

Deals with complaints about any television or radio service, including BBC and commercial broadcasters, as well as text, cable, satellite and digital services.

Air Transport Users' Council
Advises air travellers on their rights and works to solve individual cases of complaint.

Trading Standards Central
A one-stop shop for consumer protection information in the UK.

Consumer Direct
A one-stop service run by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) which gives online access to information and advice for consumers.
