This year the council is asking residents to have their say on what services the council should prioritise when budget planning for 2010/11. Feedback received during this consultation period will be used to shape the proposals detailed in the final budget, which has in previous years, changed the final proposals made.
How can you have your say?
The budget simulator is one way that you can get directly involved in this process.
Additional means of participation include:
- through Local Joint Committee meetings being held in various locations across the county
- through public consultations at the Council Chamber, Shirehall on 18 December 2009 and 14 January 2010.
- through a series of meetings involving service users and stakeholders, including Taking Part
This budget simulator will be open until the 22 January 2010. The final budget for 2010/11 will be decided by Council on 25 February 2010.
