These 10 circular rides (for use by those on foot, horse or bicycle) lead you for more than 130 miles (209km) over the tranquil, beauty of the Shropshire Hills. The routes link to the Jack Mytton Way and extend from Wenlock Edge, across the Long Mynd to the Stiperstones.
They vary in length between 8 and 22 miles and follow public bridleways, byways and quiet lanes. The National Trust and Forestry Commission have also provided additional permissive bridleways. The new guide provides easy to follow directions with notes on interesting features that can be seen along the way.
The Ride Shropshire routes have been devised in partnership with members of the Long Mynd and District Bridleways Association and part funded by Advantage West Midlands. The rides form part of the Ride UK network which is being developed under a nationwide initiative of the British Horse Society.
