Countryside Access Strategy 2008 - 2018

The final Countryside Access Strategy is now available.

The Countryside Access Strategy has been produced following on from widespread consultation with local residents, visitors and others. The strategy looks at the existing countryside access network in the county, and outlines improvements to modernise the network and to make the countryside a more welcoming and accessible place for everyone.

This strategic plan has been developed to guide the County Council in how it delivers access to the countryside over the next ten years. The strategy includes detailed action plans and policy statements to help with this.
