Strategic documents for outdoor recreation

The documents attached are strategic documents which help to inform the work of the outdoor recreation team.

The countryside access strategy will inform the work of the countryside access team until 2018, and will be reviewed every 5 - 10 years.

The strategy published in 2008 was nominated for a Natural England Rights of Way Improvement Plan award for the "best consultation/community involvement award". Download a copy of the strategy below.

The countryside access team annual report highlights the work undertaken by the team in the previous 12 months. Download a copy below. Also attached is an overview of the work carried out by the team over the past 12 months (april 2008 - 09)
