Entry to Employment e2e

e2e helps 16 to 18 year olds progress on to work, college or training.

e2e is a learning programme based on the needs of the individual, creating a personalised timetable of 16 – 30 hours a week to best suit individual learning styles and needs. This could include essential skills, ICT, work based qualifications or practical experience in a work placement.

Learners on the e2e programme will receive a travel allowance and can apply for Education Maintenance Allowance(EMA), where financial bonuses may also be available for the achievement of goals.

e2e is designed to aid individuals reach their goals and learn new skills, such as:

  • developing self esteem
  • communication skills
  • confidence building
  • teamwork

Qualifications that can be achieved through e2e are:

  • CLAIT (Computer Literacy and Information Technology)
  • ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
  • Fork Lift Truck Licence
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health and Safety
  • Manual Handling
  • Food Hygiene
  • Fire Safety
  • NVQ Units
  • various learndirect Short Courses

How long does it last?

The learner may be on e2e for just a few weeks or longer depending on when they feel ready to move on. During their time with us, we will provide them with all the support and encouragement they need to help you achieve their potential.
