Learning for all
County Training is committed to providing a quality learning experience for all learners and we endeavour to make sure that our are available to everyone, irrespective of personal circumstances. Our aim is to add value and enrich the lives of our learners which is why our supportive learning environments are designed to encourage achievement through personal and career development.

Impartial advice and guidance
Great emphasis is placed on developing each learners capacity to work effectively. Every learner is important to County Training, where talking and listening to others points of view are valued and encouraged. We have a number of sensitive and experienced staff who can offer impartial advice and guidance to help you make the right choices.

Additional support
If you require additional support with your learning please let us know. Our experienced and flexible tutors will adapt their teaching styles to match the way you learn best. We can help by providing individual or small group tuition, or more specialised support.

Learners with physical disabilities and/or limited mobility
Our aim is to ensure that people with disabilities can participate fully in all aspects of learning and we are committed to making reasonable adjustments to our provision to ensure this. If you have a disability that affects the way you use our service please talk to us so that we can discuss the best way to help you and make your time with us easier.

The majority of County Training centres have been adapted to help improve physical access, and many of our courses are flexibly designed to help learners overcome other difficulties. We have designated parking spaces in our car parks, close to main entrances and our reception staff will provide assistance where required. We have unisex toilets for learners with disabilities.

Hearing impaired learners
If you are deaf or have a hearing impairment, we can arrange a British Sign Language interpreter or other suitable communicator to assist you. Hearing loops are also available at each centre.

Visually impaired learners
If you are blind or visually impaired we will provide information in Braille, large print or on audio tape upon request.

Dyslexic Learners
If you have Dyslexia and require additional support please let us know, so our staff can adapt their teaching styles to best suit your needs.

If you do not speak English
If you do not speak English we can arrange an interpreter or if you prefer you may bring your own. We will also provide leaflets in other languages upon request.
