The Education Advisory Service provides an extensive programme of continuing professional development training for school managers, teaching staff, support staff and governors. This training is provided either through courses delivered at a range of training centres across the county, or via school-based training sessions which can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the school (or groups of schools if necessary).

The courses and school-based training sessions cover all aspects of primary, secondary and special education, as well as the very latest management issues. The programmes are continually updated to take account of the ever-changing local and national education agenda.

Please take time to browse through our programme of courses by following either the primary courses or secondary courses links. Additional courses will be posted on the site throughout the year, so make sure to visit regularly!

To find out what support we can provide across all curriculum and management aspects, get background details on the experience of the advisers/consultants, and to find out how you can book them to come to your school, please visit the School-Based Training section.
