Target audience

To all teachers of design and technology in either primary or secondary schools.

Course content

Introduction to ISub Education Ltd and Dye-Sublimation Technology. Its relevance in education, the process, equipment, costs, 3D printing, image generation software, types of projects and hands-on practical experience. Two items (of choice) will be printed during the day to take away.

Intended outcomes

Participants will:

  • have a good understanding of the process of dye-sublimation printing and its equipment
  • have an understanding of how it fits within the curriculum and other areas of the school (inc Business Enterprise)
  • see how the dye-sublimation process is used within industry
  • have a hands-on, practical session using software and equipment.
