Primary and Secondary Return to Teach Course - applicants sought. Financial support provided.

The Education Advisory Service, in a partnership with PBM Inspection Services Ltd, is running a returners course for qualified teachers seeking to return to teaching in either the primary or secondary school phase.
Course dates: 5 May 2009 - 29 June 2009
Programme
- The course runs over a period of 8 weeks and includes full day tutor led training sessions, one day equivalent per week of independent learning and school placements.
- Primary and secondary subjects and aspects are covered including: teaching strategies, classroom and behaviour management, assessment, inclusion and planning.
- A bursary of £150 per week is available.
- Childcare/carer support (up to £150 per child/per dependent per week) is available as necessary.
