Target audience

Teaching assistants who have completed the 'Are you Ready for HLTA Status?' course and been awarded a funded place.

Course content

This full three day course will thoroughly prepare candidates for the HLTA assessment process.

Intended outcomes

Participants will:
- be able to complete the written tasks to a high standard
- understand the requirements of the school visit by an assessor
- be fully aware of the requirements of the assessment process.

Programme

To attend this course, applicants must:
- have attended the course 'Are You Ready for HLTA Status?'
- have been awarded a grant funded place
- have a level 2 qualification in English and mathematics.

The three days of the course will fully prepare you for the rigorous HLTA assessment process, which is carried out by Best Practice Network on behalf of the Training and Development Agency for Schools..

We aim to put finalised course programmes on the website two weeks ahead of the course date.
