This course is designed for new and aspiring heads of science although experienced subject leaders may also find the course useful. The course will explore the skills required to lead and manage people in order to get the best out of your departmental team. The course will also explore how to effectively manage time and resources.

  • To develop the expertise and skills required for effective subject leadership
  • To help future science subject leaders to become fully informed about the issues related to leading and managing a subject and a team of science teachers
