Management

What is happening in Management ....

The revised regulations for performance management will require school managers to:

  • ensure the school’s current CPD policy reflects the revised regulations
  • join up and integrate CPD with other school improvement initiatives
  • take account of performance management review outcomes to produce and resource an effective plan for CPD
  • ensure that teachers/headteachers access CPD that best matches their needs

The revised regulations will result in an increasingly wide range of CPD activity with centre-based courses likely to be complemented by increased demand for bespoke and cost effective school and cluster based course and school-based training sessions.
