Target audience

All teachers and teaching assistants, governors, NQTs and experienced staff.

Course content

Information about key cultural and religious issues relating to the main minority ethnic groups represented in Shropshire, in particular Pakistani, Indian, African Caribbean, Chinese, Japanese and Polish.

Intended outcomes

Participants will:

  • have an awareness and understanding of other cultures to inform the learning ethos and environment of schools
  • create a more inclusive environment for pupils.
