Safer communities

The Safer Communities team combines work on Community Safety and the National Drug and Alcohol Strategy.

We are part of Community Services and work with partners to deliver services helping to create safer and healthier communities for you. Our partners include:

• the District/Borough Councils
• the police, fire and rescue services
• health services and probation

Crime and fear of crime are major issues for Shropshire residents. We support the local crime and disorder partnerships to improve safety and dispel concerns about crime with the Safer Shropshire Partnership.
