Domestic burglary
As a partnership we will support police activity to minimise the numbers of domestic and distraction burglaries through prevention and enforcement activity.

Activities to tackle the problem will involve:

• raising awareness of the steps that can be undertaken to increase security
• responding quickly to incidents and problem locations by targeting known offenders

Business crime
Together we will raise awareness of business crime and develop and support business crime initiatives in Shropshire

We will:

• work to develop a better understanding of the nature of business crime
• provide information on ways of minimizing theft, burglary and criminal damage
• target repeat victims and offenders

Vehicle crime
We will seek to discourage acts of vehicle crime through public awareness and enforcement activity.

Joint action will include:

• enforcement activity aimed at minimizing damage to, theft of, and theft from vehicles
• the use of promotional campaigns to increase vehicle security
• steps to reduce the theft of bicycles
• the identification of problem locations such as car parks
