Shropshire Music Service promotes music education in Shropshire and is a non-profit-making organisation, funded by a number of partners:
- parents of students paying part of the cost for a range of music services
- the Government through the Standards Fund
- Shropshire County Council
- schools paying part of the cost for a range of music services
- The Shropshire Youth Music Parents and Helpers Organisation.
