Shrewsbury cycle and walking map - new March 2008! - Your indispensable guide to getting around Shrewsbury on foot or by bike! This is a brand new leaflet providing 2 detailed maps of walking and cycling routes in Shrewsbury. The map includes useful information such as the location of cycle parking, tips on road use for cyclists and Shrewsbury cycle shop contacts as well as lots of ideas of routes for leisure walking and information on the benefits of walking and cycling. The leaflet will be available from tourist information centres from April 2008 or you can order a copy of this leaflet by following the link on this page. Cycle routes in the Wellington area - The Discovering Wellington project are in the process of producing leaflets for three routes in the Wellington area. The leaflets for the 11 mile circular All round the Wrekin route and the 14 mile circular Tern Valley Trail are ready and available to order or download now. 5 maps are included in the pack, protected with heavy duty plastic with lots of detail of the cycle routes. Covering the Western area (South Shropshire & Ludlow, Clun hills, Teme Valley and Long Mynd), Southern Area (North Herefordshire & Leominster: Valleys of the Teme, Lugg & Arrow, The River Wye), Eastern Area (South Shropshire: The Clee Hills, Apedales, Corvedale and the Teme Valley), Northern Area (North Shropshire, Ellesmere, Oswestry and the River Severn), & Central Area.
The maps are available to purchase for £6 per pack from local tourist information centres and cycle shops or online from Wheely Wonderful Cycling (follow the link on this page to their website).

They also produce information for those wishing to use mountain bike trails. Their website 'mountain bike Wales' offers updated trail news and events with an integrated accommodation and bike facility information service.
