  • Walk the Gorge - shows walking and cycling routes in the Ironbridge Gorge
  • Perry Way cycle/walk route - the Perry Way stretch of NCN route 81 follows the route of the Shropshire Union Railway between Wellington and Donnington

These maps are attached to this page for you to download or view. The maps are also available in Telford tourist information centres and libraries. Contact Telford & Wrekin Council, E&E, Civic Offices, PO Box 212, Telford TF3 4LB, or visit their website.

Cycling for pleasure in the Marches

A pack of cycle maps for all (from two hour potters to an 80 mile round trip).

Five maps are included in the pack, protected by heavy-duty plastic with lots of detail on the cycle routes. Covering the Western area (South Shropshire and Ludlow, Clun Hills, Teme Valley and Long Mynd), Southern Area (North Herefordshire and Leominster: Valleys of the Teme, Lugg and Arrow, The River Wye), Eastern Area (South Shropshire: The Clee Hills, Apedales, Corvedale and the Teme Valley), Northern Area (North Shropshire, Ellesmere, Oswestry and the River Severn), and Central Area.

The maps are available to purchase for £6 per pack from local tourist information centres and cycle shops, or online from Wheely Wonderful Cycling (follow the link on this page to their website).

Long Mynd MTB map

The trails can be accessed from several start points: the centre of Church
Stretton, Carding Mill Valley or the Shropshire hills MTB centre, where you will find
shops and cafes for any trail supplies. Please avoid parking in passing places on
country lanes or in the entrances to farmers fields.

Route information

Because of the variety of the Long Mynd and the surrounding area, you are faced with plenty of riding choices, and we have highlighted some of the best trails that can be mixed and matched to create a route to suit your needs.

All trails are either legal rights of way or permissive routes, and you can travel in any direction you like.

Download the map from the attachment on this page.
