Community Services, in partnership with Shropshire County Primary Care Trust, offers a person centred assessment and care management service to people with learning disabilities.
Our services are designed around people. They reflect the needs of the people who use the service, their families and their carers. Services for adults with learning disabilities are offered following a care assessment, providing you are eligible for services. Select the link on this page for more information.
We aim to ensure people with learning disabilities have access to the same community facilities as everyone else.
We offer residential, supported living and day opportunities for people with learning disabilities as well as work experience, training and employment opportunities through Enable.

The Personal Relationships and Sexuality Policy for adults with learning disabilities has been written in partnership across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin to guide and inform practice in the area. The aim is to promote the rights and choices of people with learning disabilities whilst giving a policy framework for staff to work within during daily practice. A copy of the policy can be downloaded from this page.Last updated 30 May 2012 Print this page
