Occupational therapy

Occupational Therapists give information and advice on maintaining or regaining your independence. They can suggest practical solutions which might include changes to your home and allow you to be more independent, or that help your carer to assist you.

Equipment includes items such as raised toilet seats, bath lifts or shower chairs. Adaptations range from simple rails to major structural alterations to the home. For more information please contact your local Social Care Team.

Occupational Therapy Services are also available at the Disability Living Centre which has centres in Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Whitchurch and Ellesmere where you can get information and advice about products and services for disabled people.
