Group visits to the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre

Whether you're a coach company looking for a lunch stop, a community group looking for an outing or a family looking for something to do for a birthday or just a get together, we'll welcome you to the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and do what we can to help - all the basics are given below.

All we ask is that you give us a ring to let us know you're coming and to give us the chance to find out exactly what you'd like and how we can help you get the most out of your visit - ring us for a chat!

Opening Hours
Summer: April to October
Daily from 10.00am - 5.30pm
Winter: November to March
Daily from 10.00am - 4.30pm
Please note last entry to the Secret Hills exhibition is one hour before we close.
We can also easily arrange visits on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings if this would suit your group.

If you are accompanying a disabled person as their carer, entrance to the exhibition is free.

Accessibility
The centre is fully accessible and the Secret Hills exhibition has interpretation sensitive to the needs of people with disabilities:
The carpark includes disabled parking spaces
We have an all-weather hard-standing circular path around the meadows that is wheelchair friendly
We have a wheelchair on site which visitors may borrow
We have modern disabled toilets
Assistance dogs are welcome on site
There is an induction loop in the balloon ride

Parking
There is free onsite parking for both cars and coaches. This includes disabled spaces adjacent to the building.
