The Young People's Substance Misuse Team provides advice and treatment for young people up to the age of 19 who are using drugs, alcohol or solvents. Referrals are welcome from young people and their families.

If you or someone close to you uses drugs or alcohol and you want to know:

• how they affect you
• what the risks are
• how you/they can cut down or stop using drugs and/or alcohol

You can talk to a young person’s worker at the Substance Misuse Team.The team has a confidentiality policy which is explained at the point of referral and when a worker first meets a young person.
