ECINS - recording early help assessments
With the introduction of ECINS as the case recording system for targeted early help and the Strengthening Families outcomes from 1 April 2016, there are some changes to how we record early help assessments and the tools we use.
ECINS is a secure web-based case management system that has been developed in response to practitioner consultation. One of the needs identified was to have a system that allows agencies to share information about families confidently, thus avoiding duplication and ensuring families get the right service at the right time.
To get access to ECINS your organisation needs to sign up to the
- Strengthening Families information sharing agreement
- Data sharing protocol and
- ECINS memorandum of understanding
