Shropshire Council provides a range of services to Shropshire's business community. We work in partnership with businesses and other organisations to support economic growth in the County. Support includes:

• The Shropshire Business Board, which ensures business views are taken into account when developing economic policy.
• The annual Shropshire Business Summit, which is an opportunity for businesses to engage directly with Shropshire Council and other stakeholders.
• The Shropshire Business Ambassadors, which offer a strong business voice on economic challenges faced by the business community.
• Targeted support to key business sectors and networks.
• Providing general business enquiries (the team handles over 1000 enquiries from businesses each year).
• Holding Business Clinics throughout the county to encourage businesses to engage with Business Link business advisers.
• Consulting with business through events like 'Spotlight on Shropshire', to gauge opinions on economic issues.
• Advising on business finance opportunities and grants.
• Referral service to Business Link, the strategic body that is the first port of call for all business seeking advice and support.
