The Economic Development team provides a range of services to Shropshire's Business Community, working in partnership with local and regional public and private sector organisations.
Alongside our Invest in Shropshire initiative, we undertake other business support measures.
We support the growth business sectors in the county, including:
Creative industries by assisting in the planning and implementation of joint promotional activity working closely with Creative Shropshire.
Agriculture, food and drink businesses, working in partnership with Heart of England Fine Foods and Shropshire Rural Hub.
Environmental technologies sector in Shropshire with SEtNEt, the Shropshire Environmental Technologies Network.
Social enterprises. We work closely with 'Partners for Social Enterprise,' PSE, to offer support to emerging and established social businesses.
Tourism industry through working with the Shropshire and Telford Destination Management Partnership, DMP.
We also provide a signposting service to Business Link, the strategic body that is the first port of call for all business seeking advice and support.
