Avian flu (bird flu) information

Shropshire Council’s Trading Standards Service has contingency plans in place should avian (bird) flu arrive in the county at some point in the future. In that event, Trading Standards Officers will work closely with the Department for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) to ensure that national guidelines are properly enforced in Shropshire.
