What is hate crime?

Hate crime is defined as any crime or incident motivated by prejudice or hate, and includes crimes based on race, disability, sexual orientation and faith.

What do I do if I have witnessed, or been the victim of, a hate crime?

You can now report it online using our online form.

How can I report hate crime?

Simply follow the link on this page and answer as many questions as you can, or as many as you wish.

You can also report hate crime at a number of locations across Shropshire. The attached leaflet (entitled 'hate crime reporting points') gives further information.
