LAA/SCS Evidence Base

These documents form the evidence base for the Local Area Agreement (LAA) and the Sustainable Community Strategy (SCS) for Shropshire. Follow the link on this page to the Shropshire Partnership web site to view the LAA and SCS documents.

These documents incorporate evidence in various different formats from a wide variety of sources and contributors from the Local Strategic Partnership. The focus has centred on the priorities for the LAA:

• vulnerable people
• affordable housing
• low wage economy

For the SCS:

• Children and Young People
• Health and Wellbeing
• Sustainable Communities
• Safer, Stronger Communities

These documents includes contextual background information, analysis and mapping of existing evidence, including past trends, the current situation and future trends where available. Where possible, data has been presented for the Northern, Central and Southern areas of the County. These documents also provide a signpost to the large body of evidence that exists in current documents, plans and strategies and highlights work that is in progress or planned which will provide further evidence and identify emerging issues from that work.
