If you have changed address within the previous six months and have not advised the Free School Meals team, then your renewal letter reminder will have been sent to your old address.
Not responding to the renewal reminder by the requested date automatically cancels your free school meal award. A renewal letter is to remind you that free meals must be re-applied for on a 6 monthly basis.
You may have started paying for school meals or your child may have started bringing sandwiches. When a free meal is no longer taken, the school will inform us and the award is then cancelled.
There may be other reasons why your free meals have been cancelled, if you are in any doubt at all please contact the Free School Meals team.
